Three people — including a 9-month-old baby — were killed and multiple people were injured Saturday when a small plane with six people aboard crashed into a home in a Salt Lake City suburb, according to reports.
Killed were the pilot, the baby and a woman, while another woman was in critical condition and a 2-year-old child was in stable condition. A 12-year-old child on the plane was injured but released from a hospital, FOX 13 of Salt Lake City reported.
Joe Murillo Jr., a man who said he was related to the people on the plane, spoke to FOX 13 about the crash.
“It’s terrible, it’s terrible,” he said. “I lost my mom and dad, and that’s the only sister I’ve got. I hope I don’t lose her.”
The crash occurred in West Jordan, about 13 miles south of Salt Lake City.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane was a Piper PA-32, FOX 13 reported.
Local police said one person was inside the home and was injured when the plane crashed.
