Hausa/Yoruba Clash: You Need to be Proactive – Fayose Tells Gov. Seyi Makinde

Former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on ChannelsTv said that Governor Seyi makinde of Oyo state needs to be more proactive.

“Governor Seyi Makinde need to be more proactive in fighting insecurity in the state, stating that Oyo state is a big state’.

He needs to borrow from my experience. He was about 31 or 32 years when I was governor in 2003 even Gov Yaya Bello of Kogi was 28 years at that time. He said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, while reacting to the recent security tensions in the state, and most recently the violence that broke out in Shasha market in Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan on Saturday. Fayose called on all governors to come together and collectively fight the growing wave of insecurity in the country.

On Sunday Ighoho, the PDP Chieftain told Channels TV on Sunday that the activist must be used positively in the resolution of ethnic crisis and insecurity rather than being threatened.
