Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi has announced the demise of 3 COVID-19 patients on Thursday. The commissioner disclosed that the deceased were males aged 51, 52 and 62.

The tweet reads: “One of the dead is a medical doctor who had contact with an infected person who recently returned to the country. Other victims have no travel history or record of contact with any infected person. Total COVID-19 related deaths are now 10.
“I hereby urge Lagosians to remain vigilant and report any concern about COVID-19 infection in our communities by calling the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) toll-free lines.”
He said that as of 15th April, 2020, 18 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed in Lagos. The new confirmation brings total number of COVID-19 Lagos cases to 235.
