The former couple, who are private, are yet to talk publicly over the development. Adele and Simon first met in 2011, and welcomed their son the following year. There was intense speculation that they had secretly tied the knot in 2017 when they were spotted flashing wedding rings – with the star confirming the ceremony at the Grammy’s by referring to Simon as her ‘husband’ during her acceptance speech. It wasn’t to last, with her spokesperson confirming their relationship had ended in April, 2019. ’Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly,’ they said at the time.
